Wow, y’all. Maroon 5 totally rocked. I mean really. It was an awesome concert. The date wasn’t so much a great one, but the concert kicked ass.
First of all, and probably most important is that they sound really good live. It’s not the same as the recordings, obviously. But these guys are definitely talented and can perform and play in person just as well (if not better) than a studio.
Add in all the lighting effects, entertaining between songs, really good transitions, and a totally pumped crowd and you have yourself a pretty good concert. Also, I hadn’t realized two things about Adam Levine, the lead singer–he’s a really great guitar player and he’s pretty hot in person. Yeah, I just got all girly on you for a second.
I wish I could have taken pictures, but truth be told, I didn’t think to bring a camera and my cell phone wasn’ cooperating. Sigh.
Anyway, with Maroon 5 playing through my head all night, it was hard to sleep. So I’m pretty exhausted today. But it was worth it. The awkward date that ended on a worse note than it started, was totally worth it. My loss of voice today–totally worth it.
Everyone has to get girlie every once in a while.

Even the best dates would quickly fade when you’ve got Adam Levine to drool over. A little skinny for me, but definitely hot. His energy is contagious! Glad you’re still riding that birthday wave!

*squeeeeeaaaaal*!!! I’m so glad you got to see them! And now I’m REALLY excited to see them next month! They really are fabulous live, and Adam has an amazing presence. It helps that he’s hot. Sadly, he seems to know it.
